Description

WCA aims to empower people through life skills and leadership training programmes, helping them to change and develop their minds, hearts and spirits for life success. Since the organisation started, nearly 9000 people have been trained through its various programmes.

Overview

The organisation needs volunteers to assist them with office-related tasks, such as helping to structure a filing system. People with IT skills to help the organisation improve their IT network, internet sharing and computer file management would also be needed on this day

Beneficiaries

Almost all of the organisation’s students/beneficiaries are Zulu youth (from 12-35 years old) from the townships and semi-rural communities around Durban and all these youth will benefit from this project.

Impact

WCA strongly encourages volunteerism and a culture of life-long learning among its students, and as a result has mobilized an “army” of hundreds, and possibly thousands, of grass roots volunteers across the townships of Durban.
